Wildgoose Launches 2012 Catalogues

26th January 2012

Education company Wildgoose has released its 2012 catalogues. The two bumper editions – ‘Primary Teaching’ and ‘Secondary Humanities’ are packed with more than 2,000 educational resources including new products, best sellers and award winning topic packs. For the first time the Wildgoose catalogues feature QR (Quick Response) codes for use with smartphones providing fast access to extended product information, video clips and teaching suggestions. The Wildgoose catalogues also contain a number of special offers, multi-buy discounts and a competition to win a £1000 worth of resources for your school.

This year all Wildgoose primary teaching resources have been combined into a single catalogue covering all subjects at Foundation Stage and Key Stages 1 and 2. With 90 pages containing nearly 1,500 resources the Wildgoose Primary Teaching Catalogue features a cross-curricular Olympics pack, new desktop versions of the best selling History Timeline range and a Mini Music Maker - winner of a 2010 Nursery World Award.

The Wildgoose Secondary Humanities catalogue covers the subjects of Geography, History and Religious Education at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Containing a range of best selling globes, photopacks, posters as well as new offerings in the ever-popular bespoke aerial photography range, the 2012 Secondary Humanities catalogues features more than 1,000 high quality, value-for-money resources.

“In order to promote and support cross-curricular teaching and help do our bit for the environment, we have made the decision to condense our catalogues into single offerings for each age range,” commented Kathryn Lucas, Education Manager at Wildgoose. “We are encouraging teachers to share their copies of our catalogues with colleagues and to support this we are offering schools the chance to win a £1000 worth of resources for their school. It couldn’t be easier – simply spot the 6 Wilbur the Wildgoose characters hiding in the pages of the catalogues and enter online by the 1st April to be in with a chance of winning.”

Wildgoose has been providing resources for education for over 15 years and has grown into one of the UK’s leading school suppliers. For further information, or to request a copy of any of the above catalogues, please call Wildgoose on 01530 518568 or visit www.wildgoose.ac
