BalloonOne hosted ERP and CRM solution revolutionises Cygnett UK operation

05th September 2013

Brentford, 05 September 2013 – Mobile digital device accessories manufacturer Cygnett is implementing hosted SAP Business One from supply chain IT company BalloonOne for its UK operations. Cygnett will also install SAP CRM software to connect its sales team with the business system; the field sales reps will be issued with iPads that will provide a mobile platform giving them access to live stock data and the ability to take and place orders in real-time.

Once the system is live, Balloon One will assist Cygnett with interfacing its ERP with its 3PL warehouse partner using EDI. This will automate the ordering process and help ship products quicker. The company is also looking at developing a customer portal that will enable EDI communications with those customers who want to place orders electronically.

Mark Rogers, General Manager UK & Europe for Cygnett says: “There is a lot of potential for various integrations with the ERP software. Not only with our warehouse but also with our customers, many of whom want to interact with us electronically. We’re also excited about using a CRM system that talks directly to the ERP system. We’ll be able to compile orders in real-time and use live stock information when we are out and about with customers, which is a first for this industry. Our investment in the software will help us defend our position in the market and ensure we maintain our lead in providing competitively priced, high quality products backed by the best available customer service.”

“Balloon One was recommended by our SAP provider in Australia. We have experience of using the system in Australia but we needed a good understanding of what the software can do for us in the UK too. The BalloonOne team has helped us gain that knowledge and they have worked hard to understand our business and how the software will assist us to drive it forward,” adds Mark Rogers.
