APC delivers Father Christmas to Havergal school

Wolverhampton, UK, 12 December 2011 – APC Overnight’s reliability was put to the test for delivering Santa to Havergal school Christmas fair. Tasked with ensuring that Santa arrived at the event, APC Head of Sales & Marketing drove the VIP to the school in a company minibus. A significant number of children and parents attended the event at the school, which is located near to APC’s national hub in Wolverhampton.
“Havergal has a wonderful reputation and we were very pleased that we could assist with the festivities. A number of our staff send their children to the school and speak highly of it. We don’t usually deliver people, let alone VIPs, but we showed that we are experts in Handled with Care services and ensured that Santa arrived on time and intact,” said Steve Salt.
APC itself has been preparing hard for the Christmas rush of parcels going through the Wolverhampton national hub and is already processing more than 100,000 consignments a night. Additional resources have been called in to sort the huge volumes of parcels at both its national and Scottish hubs, with extra help in place at the 120+ APC depots throughout the UK.
